Permanent Makeup Advances
Permanent makeup has gotten a bad rap. I'd have to agree. When I would think of permanent makeup, thoughts of "McDonald Arch" eyebrows and horrific thick, black, filled in crayon brows came to mind. Fortunately, things have progressively changed. Permanent makeup has become an art. There have been many new and innovative techniques to give natural and flawless results. One of the newer techniques include:
Hair strokes for brows which make them look extremely natural and "life like". Each eyebrow hair is delicately put in one "hair stroke" at a time. Gone are the days of the unnatural "fill in" approach. I've had this done myself and I love the results!! No more penciling in my brows in the morning, after swimming, coming from the gym, or after a "romantic romp". My brows look great 24/7!!! The money, time and frustration of having perfect brows is now gone....PERMANENTLY!
I recommend that you consult with your technician before any treatment. Ask if they are experienced in the "hair stroke" technique and where they received their certification. Many permanent makeup technicians are lay persons and only need 1-2 days of training to get a certificate. Many use old techniques using "hand tools" or Rotary Machines. Make sure your technician has had over 120 hours of training and is using a state of the art "Digital Machine" for your treatment.
